    Elena Ceretti Stein (b. 1989) is an Italian-Israeli multidisciplinary artist based in Tel Aviv. Born in Milan, Italy, she studied in London, where she graduated from the University of the Arts with a BA in Cultural Studies, continuing to research Biological Anthropology before migrating to Israel and fully dedicating herself to contemporary art. She completed her MFA in Bezalel in 2022.

    Selected exhibitions include the solo shows ‘Vivarium’ at Braverman Gallery, Tel Aviv (2022); ‘Habitus’ at P8 Gallery, Tel-Aviv (2021), curated by Hadassa Cohen; ‘Confetti’, dual show with Tziki Eisenberg at Hanut Gallery, Tel-Aviv (2019), curated by Tali Kayam, among others. The artist has taken part in various group exhibitions including ‘Volta. Talvez Em Casa’, at Contemporão SP, Sao Paulo, Brasil (2022); ‘Nexus’, Final Exhibition at MFA Bezalel Academy, curated by Dor Guez and Hadas Maor (2022); ‘Astrocarpets’ at FreshPaint Art Fair, Tel-Aviv, curated by Yifat Gurion (2021); ‘Ecosophia’, curated by Cristina Quadro Qurzio for Creval (online); ‘A short time after what can’t be touched’ show at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Tel-Aviv (2021); ‘Salon Hanina’ at Hanina Gallery (Tel-Aviv), curated by Neta Bachrach (2020); Francesco Fabbri Finalists Show at Villa Brandolini, Treviso, Italy, curated by Carlo Sala (2019); ‘HaMekarer 3’, group show at HaMekarer Gallery, Tel-Aviv, curated by Iris Pshedezki (2019); ‘How to catch a witch’, Alfred Gallery, Tel-Aviv, curated by Talya Raz, Lior Schur, Rotem Ritov; ‘Cheder Avodah’ group exhibition at Cohen-Levy’s studio, Tel-Aviv (2018); ‘Woman in workspace’ group exhibition at MUSRARA gallery, the Naggar Multidisciplinary School of Art and Society, Jerusalem, curated by Gil Cohen (2018).
